The fluids fill the male scrotum, causing swelling, which is Hydrocele. It is found mainly in infants than in adults. The two different forms of diagnosis involved in the process of testing for Hydrocele is

Surgical Procedure for Hydrocele

The surgery to remove Hydrocele is performed by giving general or regional anaesthesia. There is a small incision made over scrotum to remove the Hydrocele. This procedure is known to be hydrocelectomy.

As the surgery is relatively minor, the patient gets discharged the same day. The patients are recommended to apply ice packs around the area of surgery for 24 hours.
