Laparoscopy
A laparoscopic procedure involves the minimal invasion process using a laparoscope, a thin, flexible telescope to treat the hernia. The laparoscope is inserted through small incisions near the navel. The doctor inflates the abdomen using harmless gas and places a mesh to strengthen the abdominal muscles. Once operated on, incisions are closed, and the patient recovers within a few days.
